Recently, I encountered someone who made me shake my head because of their stubbornness, and the problem is I am beginning to think it is not because they are stubborn but maybe just blinded by a religious spirit.
The problem was they don’t really read the Bible, and they believe it is so full of contradictions and errors, yet, when they pick it up to read, they don’t understand it.
My suggestion was to get a translation of the Holy Bible that they could read and understand. And the answer was no because it is not the King James Version.
The Word of God is like a mirror, and if we look closely, we are able to see where we need to change ourselves. Most of the time, that is not a pretty picture.
Therefore, I walked away, shaking my head. Could it be that sometimes we are afraid of what the Scriptures really say?
