We all need a favorite spot. By favorite spot, I mean a place to sit and just be still. A place to spend time alone in the silence of the morning or the day. To be alone in the presence of the Lord.
It’s in that favorite spot you find comfort. It’s like a deep hug when you truly need one or a warm, cozy blanket on a cold night.
I know we all live in a chaotic world. And that is even more reason to have a favorite spot. A place to sit, and have a cup of coffee or tea and just be. No need to be in a hurry, but to just listen. Just you and the Lord.
I encourage yall today. If you don’t have a favorite spot, look for one. You may be surprised where it may be.
I remember when my children were younger and even my grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they would run through the house and start pulling blankets and sheets off the beds. I would find forts under tables and on and under the furniture. And hear the giggles of kids just enjoying their favorite spot.
We all need to be children again no matter how old we are. Find that favorite spot and have fun.
