I wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. However, due to issues beyond my control here, things did not go as planned, but here is my late Happy Thanksgiving.
Can you imagine what would happen if we all had a spirit of gratitude? I think the results would be simply amazing.
Habakkuk 3:17-19 (ESV) “Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, 18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. 19 GOD, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer’s; he makes me tread on my high places. To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments.”
Do you see the very last part of this Scripture?
He actually called in the praise and worship team.
Now that is how ya do it.
You have to praise and worship God even when you don’t see the blessings.
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord because He is good !!!
Psalms 100:1-5 (ASV) A Psalm of thanksgiving. “Make a joyful noise unto Jehovah, all ye lands. 2 Serve Jehovah with gladness: Come before his presence with singing. 3 Know ye that Jehovah, he is God: It is he that hath made us, and we are his; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Give thanks unto him, and bless his name. 5 For Jehovah is good; his lovingkindness endureth forever, And his faithfulness unto all generations.“
Even when we can’t see the blessings, He is still God, and He is still good.
