The Journey: Finding Your Footing in a Scattered World

Do you ever feel like you’re your own worst enemy? Like you’re constantly running headlong into chaos, trying to do everything—read everything, learn everything, accomplish everything—only to find that nothing truly gets done? If so, you’re not alone. I often find myself in this very spot, pleading with my Heavenly Father, “Show me where to put my feet on this path!”

It’s a common struggle in our fast-paced world to feel scattered, overwhelmed by endless possibilities, and the pressure to keep up. But in those moments of internal noise, a whisper of ancient wisdom often cuts through:

“Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
— Proverbs 16:3 (ESV)

Think about it for a moment. What if we started each day, not by frantically trying to map out every single step, but by simply committing our plans, our works, our very desires to the Lord? Imagine the peace that could bring.

He truly does have a better way than we do. We don’t have to wrestle with every decision, every fear, every overwhelming task. We just need to give them to Him, commit them fully, and then watch Him work. It’s an act of active surrender, trusting that the One who created us also knows the perfect path for us.
This life, after all, is a journey.
